The scope of the role is to support people to make everyday healthier, sustainable & mindful choices, to proudly present OTOTO beautiful, independent brands by ensuring everyday operations support the promised brand offering & experience and by striving to turn everyone who enters the store into a happy, returning customer and ambassador for OTOTO.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including operational workflows and store efficiencies.
* Oversee system processes to step in for efficiencies or troubleshooting.
* Oversee maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, and service providers to ensure an optimal store environment.
* Manage POS systems, inventory systems, and operational tools, ensuring accuracy and maximizing usage.
* Resolve operational or customer concerns promptly and professionally.
* Evaluate & manage recurring issues in stores.
* Ensure all operations adhere to local regulations, labor laws, and safety standards.
* Oversee end-to-end stock management including receiving, replenishment, transfers, stock rotation analysis, and inventories.
* Ensure effective stock flow and category performance.
* Act as main contact for authorities properties administrators.
* Lead the process for obtaining any authorisation documentation.
* Collect, verify, and submit all required payroll inputs to the payroll provider. Ensure all documentation is complete, compliant, and provided on time.
* Support pop-ups, partnerships and participation to outside events by ensuring operational readiness.
* Work closely with management team to support & develop the overall plans and provide insights, input & feedback from customers, team, being in the store daily (and at least one weekend per month).
* Implement eco-conscious practices (recycling, compost, and general waste).
* Ensure exceptional service standards at all times, upholding the OTOTO vision.
* Lead by example & walk the talk promoting OTOTO's core values.
