Innovation and Entrepreneurship Researcher
This tenure track position focuses on conducting innovative research related to entrepreneurship and innovation in the digital age. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in management, economics, psychology, sociology, or a related field, and a strong commitment to high-quality research. They should have experience with quantitative empirical research methods, teaching, and supervising students.
Responsibilities:
• Develop an international reputation in research by publishing in top outlets.
• Teach 90 contact hours per year on topics related to entrepreneurship and innovation, business analytics, and other relevant areas.
• Supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses, as well as support PhD students in their research.
• Contribute actively to administration, development of study programs, and courses.
• Engage in Third Mission activities and apply for third-party research funds.
Requirements:
• PhD degree in Management, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Proven international academic experience (a PhD from a non-Austrian university or at least three years of academic work experience outside of Austria).
• Strong commitment to high-quality research and evidence of ability to conduct impactful research.
• At least one academic research paper published or publishable in a leading journal that connects broadly to innovation in the digital age.
• Active involvement in the international academic community and teaching experience in English and/or German at Bachelor- or Master-level.
• Experience in advanced quantitative empirical research methods and willingness to use multimedia teaching methods.

About the Position:
This is a tenure track position with a fixed-term contract for up to six years. Once all objectives agreed upon in the qualification agreement have been fulfilled, the employment relationship can be made permanent. The successful candidate will be part of the Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization and will likely engage with scholars at other institutes within the department.
