Senior Director Technology & PreDev TRP (f/m/div)
Are you ready to immerse yourself as a Senior Director for Technology Roadmapping and Pre-Development in Villach, Regensburg or Munich? In this pivotal leadership role at Infineon, you will lead the technology to process roadmap process and will shape next generation device interconnects, driving cross FE/BE pre development.
As a Senior Director Technology Roadmapping and Pre-Development your responsibilities will encompass:
* Lead the end-to-end Technology-to-Process Roadmap cycle: coordinate FE/BE unit process development with divisional wafer technology and BE platform needs; derive investment implications; organize roadmap release and executive reporting
* Set direction for future device interconnects: own and manage the Functional Elements (FuEl) roadmap; drive strategic planning and overarching interconnect concept management
* Identify technical gaps; initiate, execute, and roll out cross-FE/BE pre-development programs; align requirements and specifications with stakeholders; plan and allocate budgets
* Conduct early technology cost assessments prior to milestones A1/T1 to guide concept selection
* Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of roadmap managers, cost assessment experts, and project managers for new interconnect solutions.
* Establish lean processes and ensure on-time, on-spec, and on-budget project execution
* Drive pre-development and technology scouting; initiate and organize collaborations with research institutes and leading universities; represent Infineon within internal and external R&D communities.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Inorganic Chemistry or related fields, ideally PhD
* 10+ years of professional experience in semiconductor R&D spanning technology and product development.
* 10+ years of hands-on project management of complex, cross-functional initiatives; PMP/IPMA or equivalent certification is a plus.
* Proven expertise in wafer technology and semiconductor assembly/packaging processes;
* Capable to understand and analyze IFX product requirements and application needs and trends
* Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze product requirements, application trends, and competitive benchmarks, and convert them into actionable technology roadmaps
* Strong and proven leadership and management skills, experience in leading international teams - High degree of intercultural competence
* Fluent in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group K (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
