Overview
Unlock the future of high performance GaN power devices! Within our GaN technology development team we are searching for a passionate intern helping us to tackle the key challenges to reliability and performance of GaN HEMTs within the next 2 years.
Responsibilities
* Work on the characterization of GaN power HEMTs using source measurement unit (SMU) based and custom measurement equipment
* Create software to assist in the research and development of our GaN technology
* Maintain and expand existing hardware built for the static and dynamic characterization of GaN devices

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months
Your Profile
* Experience in software development, Python is a plus
* Ideally, first experience in using standard electrical measurement equipment (SMU, oscilloscope, multimeter) to measure electrical circuits or semiconductors
* Ideally, first hands-on-experience on hardware development using layout tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle) and corresponding skills in assembly and test of new hardware
* Possibility of being present in the company for at least 2 days per week (blocking possible)
* Optionally, HTL for electrical engineering degree or similar
* Fluency in English, German skills or the willingness to learn are a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
