Automation Technician for 2nd Level Support & Upgrades (f/m/x)
Service department of our business unit “Cable and Wire”
Responsibilities
* End-to-end 2nd-level remote support
* Developing upgrade proposals in collaboration with the specialized departments
* Technical preparation and specification of upgrades
* Programming and customization of control software (Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic Manager)
* Remote installation of software changes
* Implementation of upgrades – remotely or on-site at the customer’s location (occasional business trips)
* Close collaboration with the hardware department
* Participation in the hotline team, including on-call duty
Qualifications
* A completed technical degree (e.g., electrical engineering, automation technology) or a completed apprenticeship (electrical engineering or mechatronics) with an interest in programming
* Several years of professional experience and excellent PLC programming skills
* Interest in new technologies and technical challenges
* Ability to work independently, accurately, and with a sense of responsibility
* Strong customer focus and solution‑oriented thinking

Minimum salary 3.519,91€
We determine the salary / wage together with you. The minimum for this position is 3.519,91 EUR gross per month, working full time. (Collective Agreement: Metalltechnische Industrie)
