About us
LIVIN farms empowers food companies by building scalable, modular automated insect factories on customer sites and by providing insect‑seedlings from bio‑waste. Our farming‑as‑a‑service model enables the animal‑feed market to access high‑protein insect products, closing the protein gap across industries.
The main goal of the position
The Senior Project Manager oversees and coordinates all technical and engineering aspects of factory projects. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, forecasting, and managing every technical task to ensure accuracy, optimal resource allocation, and high quality throughout the project lifecycle, consistently delivering results on time.
Tasks
* Process engineering planning and concept development for industrial plants
* Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects
* Ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications
* Oversee quality control of project deliverables (budget, schedule, plans, contractor performance) and report regularly on status
* Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions
* Interact daily with internal and external clients to interpret needs and represent them in the field
* Participate in assembly monitoring and plant commissioning
* Create safety considerations and risk analyses
* Execute and coordinate multidisciplinary feasibility studies
* Manage coordination and negotiations with suppliers and customers
Requirements
* Completed diploma or master’s degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or a related field
* Solid experience in the development, planning, and commissioning of industrial plants in a project management role
* Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects and teams, with advanced project management and supervision skills
* Enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration across disciplines
* Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory
