As Lead IT Operations and Information Security (f/m/d) at Nuki, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless functioning of our infrastructure. As the technical lead of your team, you're the anchor keeping everything running smoothly, ensuring consistent performance of our software products, services, and workspaces. Collaborating closely with counterparts in the organization, you'll ensure that IT initiatives align seamlessly with our broader business strategies. Your Role
You provide functional leadership to subject matter experts in workplace management and IT infrastructure.
As an expert in IT infrastructures, you offer technical advice and strategic support for other departments in the company.
You oversee the technical management of our IT infrastructure, operations security, and service management across the organization.
You ensure a highly available, secure, and high-performing infrastructure that supports both customer-facing software products and our internal tools.
You are responsible for the maintenance and development of the company's IT.
You ensure compliance with ISO, GDPR, and other relevant IT and information security regulations, actively driving their continuous improvement and evolution.
You establish and manage a professional on-call service, prioritizing clear escalation paths and a healthy team rotation.
You set and drive the IT vision for the company and the IT Operations teams, aligning it with business objectives and market trends.
Job Requirements
You hold a higher technical education (University or University of Applied Sciences) and/or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a professional leadership role within a dynamic IT environment.
You have a proven track record of leading small teams and take a structured approach to incident, issue, and change management.
You possess solid IT security expertise, ideally supported by relevant certifications such as ISO, CISSP, or CSM.
You bring hands-on experience with Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Terraform, using these technologies to drive innovation and continuously optimize infrastructure.
You thrive in fast-growing, agile environments and contribute valuable insights through your analytical mindset.
You have practical experience in scaling services, showcasing your proficiency in modern development practices.
You demonstrate analytical and leadership skills as well as conflict management and customer orientation.
You are fluent in English and German and are able to communicate confidently in both languages in a business context.
You enjoy taking on responsibility, making decisions, and are characterized by your outstanding growth mindset.

For the advertised position, a minimum salary of € 3,843,- gross per month applies according to the collective agreement. Willingness to significantly overpay if you have the appropriate qualifications. This position is open for applications in Graz.
