Job Title: In-House Lawyer for Media Regulatory & Digital Media
Do you want to be part of the legal team at Red Bull as an in-house lawyer supporting various business units in the dynamic and evolving area of (digital) media, with a focus on global media regulatory issues?
In this role, you will manage legal projects, collaborate with other legal team members, and support different business units, especially in media regulation such as for Red Bull TV and our digital platforms like websites and apps. You will also negotiate contracts focusing on civil law, copyright law, and telecommunication services law.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Legal Center of Expertise: Be part of a legal centre of excellence, gaining insights into media regulatory projects. Advise on audiovisual media regulation, advertising, product placement, minors' protection, accessibility law, e-commerce, and related areas. Draft legal guidelines and risk assessments, working closely with business units.
2. Contract Review & Negotiations: Review, draft, and negotiate complex agreements related to digital business models and collaborations with international telecom partners. Assess risks and provide pragmatic, business-oriented solutions for global growth.
3. Templates & Processes: Develop and review legal templates, guidelines, and documents. Support the implementation of legal processes to ensure compliance with evolving media regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in media law, telecommunications, digital law, e-commerce, or accessibility law.
* Law degree: European law degree; German law degree (Volljurist) with post-graduate qualification (e.g., LL.M.) preferred.
* Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
* Strong knowledge of civil law and legal analysis skills.
* Interest in legal developments and ability to manage legal projects.
* Proactive, solution-oriented, well-structured, and precise working style.
* Motivated, resilient, and independent character.
Regarding salary, due to legal obligations, the minimum gross monthly salary is EUR 2,303 according to the collective agreement. Our compensation package exceeds this minimum based on market rates.
