What You'll Do

* Sell Cytiva's Downstream Hardware solutions and equipment across the assigned territory covering Eastern European countrie, including Austria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Greece, Serbia, Hungary and Romania.
* Provide high‑level technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, including pre‑sales discussions, product demonstrations, technical trainings, post‑sales support, seminars, tender support and promotional events.
* Consult customers on downstream process applications, leading technical and process‑related conversations with engineering teams and subject matter experts.
* Identify, develop and close new business opportunities while nurturing long‑term relationships with existing accounts, contributing to regional account plans and maintaining an active sales funnel in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
* Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by prioritizing selling activities, ensuring strong territory coverage and collaborating cross‑functionally with account management, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance, legal and scientific support.

Who You Are

* Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a related field.
* Bring several years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology or bioprocessing industry, and preferably gained in multicultural or multi‑country environments.
* Fluent in English; fluency in an additional European language is an advantage (German is beneficial for Austrian customers).
* Willing and able to travel regularly (up to approximately 50%) throughout the assigned territory and internationally for activities such as trade shows or FATs.
* Hold a valid EU driving license (category B).

It would be a plus if you also possess

* A Master's degree or Ph.D. In Biotechnology, Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
* Experience in technical sales or customer‑facing roles involving complex bioprocessing or scientific equipment.
* Project management experience within biopharmaceutical manufacturing or downstream processing environments.

For Austria only: The annual salary range for this role is 70.000€. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
