Learning Experience Designer (m/f/d) at Boehringer Ingelheim
We are searching for a Learning Experience Designer who, as a part of the Global Learning Experience Team, will shape innovative learning experiences that empower employees worldwide. In this role, you’ll design engaging content and learning journeys using cutting‑edge instructional‑design methods and learning technologies, collaborating with experts across diverse functions.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Design and Develop Learning Content: Create innovative and engaging learning materials and journeys, transforming storyboards into impactful training resources for Medicine globally.
* Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with functional trainers and subject‑matter experts to assess learning needs, apply learning strategies, and propose effective solutions.
* Drive Process Improvements: Lead training process‑improvement projects and support training development and execution at global and regional levels.
* Implement Innovative Learning Tools: Identify and integrate advanced learning systems and tools to enhance Boehringer Ingelheim’s global learning strategy initiatives.
* Ensure Compliance and Quality: Adhere to the Medicine Quality Management System, regulatory requirements (EMA, FDA, ICH), and company SOPs, keeping compliance and ethical decision‑making at the forefront.
Requirements
* Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant area, related to Instructional Design.
* At least 5 years of experience in instructional design or learning content development, as well as in global and cross‑functional project management.
* Strong knowledge of training frameworks, development models, and trends such as microlearning, videos, mixed reality, and gamification, ideally within a regulated (GxP) environment.
* Familiarity with e‑learning tools (e.g., Articulate), LMS and LXP platforms, and experience in developing and maintaining innovative learning content across digital platforms.
* Proven ability to work in teams and manage global, cross‑functional training projects end‑to‑end, including planning, timelines, budgets, and supplier oversight.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 73.800 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
