Senior Java Engineer - Application Observability (m/f/x)
Responsibilities
* You will work on services that process trace data from millions of OneAgent’s and from OpenTelemetry.
* Prototype, design, and implement new features in Java.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
* You will be a part of the whole implementation process, starting with talks with Product Managers and Architects through design, coding, and release preparation.
* Mentor and support colleagues, fostering an approachable and supportive environment.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the team’s service.
* Join an international team and boost our productivity by enhancing delivery, collaboration, and communication.
What Will Help You Succeed
* 5+years of experience in Java development, including architectural design.
* Technical studies related to software engineering (or similar).
* Experience with test-driven development, clean code, and design patterns.
* Enjoying transferring knowledge and experience to fellow team members.
* Experience with Tracing and/or OpenTelemetry is a plus.
* Team player with a proactive approach.
* Excited to learn new technologies.

Compensation and Relocation
* We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
* Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 65,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
