Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
* Drive milestone-based technology development project, ensuring timely delivery
* Drive technology development for trapped-ion quantum processors, with focus on scaling towards very large chip architectures
* Co‑develop the next generation of Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) in close collaboration with commercial partners
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
* University degree in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related field
* 8+ years of professional experience as a technology developer in semiconductor fabrication
* Proven track record in milestone‑based technology development projects
* A self‑motivated and enthusiastic mindset, with a mission‑driven commitment to delivering meaningful, practical quantum computing solutions
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); German language skills or a willingness to learn it are a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
