We are looking for a Shift / Assistant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage service, ensuring high-quality customer experiences that align with the premium and professional nature of our brand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Service & Operations Management
2. Supervise and coordinate the food and beverage team to provide outstanding service.
3. Ensure that all customers have access to the full menu and that service standards are consistently high.
4. Provide exceptional customer service not only in food and beverage areas but also in assisting guests with the golf simulators, ensuring they understand the technology and enjoy their experience.
5. Manage shifts, including opening and closing the venue, ensuring all operational tasks are completed efficiently.
6. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment, ensuring all areas, including the golf simulators, are kept to brand standards.
7. Weekend work and late-night shifts are required as part of the role.
8. Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as needed to ensure menu availability.
9. Update and maintain the POS system (Abacus) to ensure accurate sales tracking and reporting.
10. Support revenue growth by identifying sales opportunities within the food and beverage offerings.
1. Staff Training & Development
2. Assist in staff training to ensure compliance with RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and food handling regulations.
3. Lead by example to maintain high standards in customer service and teamwork.
4. Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss service improvements and operational efficiency.
5. Actively engage with customers to enhance their experience and gather feedback.
6. Ensure all team members maintain a friendly, professional, and approachable attitude.
7. Support promotional events, tournaments, and special bookings to enhance customer engagement.
1. Compliance & Venue Maintenance
2. Ensure food handling and beverage service comply with health and safety regulations.
3. Work closely with the management team to maintain venue cleanliness and organization.
4. Troubleshoot minor operational issues and report any technical problems promptly.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role / function
* Experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hospitality, sports, or entertainment venue.
* Leadership skills with experience supervising a team.
* Strong understanding of stock control, ordering, and POS systems.
* Enthusiastic and customer-focused, with a passion for creating a great atmosphere.
* RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification (Essential).
