Position: Digital Strategy Manager - Office of the Chief Minister
Location: Level 5 Parliament House, Darwin, Northern Territory
As a Digital Strategy Manager, you will:
Ensure the NT Government is at the forefront of exploring and testing new ways to deliver digital content to the public.
Work with all stakeholders in the Office of the Chief Minister to drive the NT Government’s digital strategy and identifying demands for digital communications.
Ensure the timely scheduling of the digital content forward plan.
Review and approve content for digital platforms to promote the NT Government’s social media presence, policies and objectives.
Establish KPIs, analyse data, and report to the Director of Communications on the effectiveness of digital strategies.
Manage a small team of digital and multimedia experts providing leadership, motivation and control to ensure that they deliver on their objectives in an effective and efficient manner and in line with the digital strategy.
Provide digital production functions, including graphic design, photography, videography and editing for the Office of the Chief Minister.
Someone with:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in social media as a digital media specialist with experience in graphic design, photography, videography and editing.
Proven high level writing, editing and marketing skills.
Experience and competency in digital analysis and reporting, including emerging trends in social media activity.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate technical and complex issues in plain language.
Well-developed organisational skills, able to work with minimal supervision, and manage competing time demands across multiple projects.
Ability to act professionally, maintain confidentiality at all times and to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required.
C Class NT Driver’s Licence.
Tertiary qualification in marketing/communication/journalism.
Knowledge and understanding of the structures and processes of the NT Government including the relationship between Departments, Ministerial offices and the Government.
