Head of Operations & HR (m/f/d)
based in Australia as soon as possible

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operational execution of the build strategy for the region
2. Communication & optimization of key performance indicators (e.g., EBITDA, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, Health and safety etc.) for the region and deriving actions for optimization in strong alignment & collaboration with the clinics
3. Budget allocation and monitoring together with the clinics and CFO
4. Focus on business development, continuous improvement and cost reduction
5. Project Management of operational Projects (e.g. implement new systems)
6. Support in client retention & satisfaction – together with CMO
7. Ensuring effective day-to-day business in the different functions and locations, resolving operational issues or conflicts and the proactive management of risks
8. Coaching of managers on leadership and team management to ensure cohesive teamwork and effective decision making across the organization.
9. Ensuring a great place to work and alignment with our company culture and values for all employees in the country along the Altano Spirit
10. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning by ensuring alignment with business needs
11. Ensure adherence to local labour laws and company policies and handle disciplinary actions in compliance with regulations
12. Monitor payroll compliance and incentive structures in close collaboration with the CFO
13. Maintenance of the HR system
14. CSR & ESG strategy for the region
15. Marketing, communication & branding strategy – in alignment with local or global Marketing and the clinics
16. Functional Leadership of Clinic Manager community in the region to professionalize operations and build synergies
17. Integration of new clinics in close collaboration with M&A Leader
18. Support of the local CMO in procurement topics

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL
* Have a relevant graduate qualification and at least 3-year proven experience in a senior operations or HR leadership role.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with organizational goals in a growth environment
* Demonstrated ability to support and manage cross-functional teams, including both clinical and non-clinical personnel
* Good understanding of the challenges and rhythms of equine industry
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* Adept at driving change, building teams, and fostering collaboration.
* Analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation.
