A well-established private development company is seeking a driven and capable individual to join the team as a Senior Development Manager. This is a rare opportunity to lead a major land development project from its early stages, with a strong focus on community, quality, and long-term vision.
You’ll be joining a fast-paced, agile environment where your energy, initiative, and leadership will be valued. With the support of key industry mentors and an Assistant Development Manager reporting to you, this role offers both challenge and growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead the delivery of a significant masterplanned community project from inception
* Manage project programming, budgeting, and cost control
* Oversee consultants, design briefs, and ensure quality outcomes
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including authorities and contractors
* Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture
* Work closely with sales and marketing to shape the product and customer journey
What They’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Development Manager in residential land development
* Ready to step into a senior leadership role and take ownership of a major project
* Strong commercial acumen and project delivery skills
* A proactive, energetic approach suited to a private development environment
* Leadership capability and a desire to mentor and grow a team
