For our location in Böhmerwaldstraße 20, 4600 Wels in the Division (Wire Rope) we are currently seeking individuals who are as diverse as the industries for which we manufacture our products.
Position
Quality Engineer (m/f/d) - Wire Rope (Full‑time)
Responsibilities
* Inspection of raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products, as well as carrying out process‑related and visual checks in production in cooperation with the production department
* Analysis and documentation of deviations, creation of reports and communication with internal and external departments
* Carrying out test orders for technical departments and ensuring compliance with specifications, standards and quality requirements
* Participation in test equipment management, support in sample preparation and active participation in LEAN activities for process optimisation
* Updating and further developing process, manufacturing and test instructions, test plans and test reports
Requirements
* Completed technical training (apprenticeship, HTL) preferably in the metal sector; ideally initial experience as a materials tester
* At least 2 years of professional experience in the quality department or in laboratory technology
* Very good German and English skills
* High IT affinity and confident use of Office 365 and SAP, including willingness to actively develop digital processes
* Proactive and persuasive personality with strong implementation skills, good self‑organisation, a high willingness to learn and initiative, as well as a passion for continuous improvement and teamwork

* More than the minimum wage of €3,001.51 gross per month as stipulated in the collective agreement. For legal reasons we are obliged to state the minimum wage, but your actual salary will depend on your experience, qualifications and responsibilities.
