We are looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer (m/d/f) to work in Tyrol, Austria for a couple of our major clients. This is a great opportunity to put your technical skills to use and develop them further. If you are fluent in German with strong DeltaV skills and have a proven understanding of the automation environment and want to learn more, this role might be for you!
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
* To develop functional and design specifications for our control systems (hardware and software) under supervision of the Lead Engineer and in collaboration with customer.
* To perform design studies and quality documents for projects according to the project specifications and in line with the applicable procedures and quality plans.
* The configuration of software applications for the Emerson Controls System DeltaV.
* To perform internal tests and customer acceptance tests in-house and at customer site.
* Provide commissioning, start-up support, after sales service and training for our clients.
* Development of the required technical project documentation
WHO YOU ARE:
You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations You pursue everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish.
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
* A Bachelor’ Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Process Automation Engineering.
* 3+ years in a control engineering project environment.
* Previous experience of working in the Process Automation environment and technical skills in control system engineering.
* Knowledge of control system design, control systems HW cabinet design and assembly, software system design, software implementation, software testing.
* Good interpersonal skills having the ability to work effectively with various internal and external collaborators.
* Willingness to travel to other world areas for training or business trips is necessary.
* Proficiency in English and German.
* A valid car driving license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
* any other European language is an advantage.
* previous experience in a matrix organization.
