Job Description
Facilities Manager (Vic/Tas) acts as the strategic and operational business lead for the centralised Facilities Management (FM) program. This role is responsible for designing and executing a master strategy to integrate diverse business areas including Pinnacle Drinks and ALH Hotels into a unified, centralised services operating model. The position holds dual accountability: leading the complex operational transition of retail networks away from Woolworths Group FM in the immediate term, while simultaneously ensuring high standard day‑to‑day maintenance, safety and trading continuity across the entire retail and hotel footprint.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage contract financial performance including invoicing, payments administration and financial management in accordance with Endeavour reporting requirements.
* Manage expenditure and costs to meet Endeavour budgets.
* Ensure contract delivery in all aspects of the Services Agreement and that KPIs are met.
* Monitor and measure contract performance and promote continuous improvement using KPI assessments, customer surveys and sub‑contractor interviews.
* Ensure strategic plans are executed as agreed, in line with business and legislative requirements.
* Foster and maintain positive working relationships with operational customers including store teams, management and representatives.
* Maintain positive working relationships with the service provider.
* Operate in line with the Endeavour Values, promoting a cohesive and positive working environment.
* Coach and mentor team members to maximise performance and realise potential, providing development opportunities.
* Communicate changes and decisions promptly and accurately to keep people informed.
* Comply with Endeavour HS&E guidelines and policies.
* Report all hazards and incidents to your immediate manager or nominated contact.
* Participate in risk management activities and consultation arrangements.
Qualifications
* 10+ Years Facilities Management experience.
* Background in FMCG / retail environments an advantage.
* Strong demonstrated experience in managing large‑scale maintenance activities.
* Knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements applying to maintenance activities.
* Experience in estimating and whole‑of‑life cost optimisation.
* Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high‑level financial knowledge and skills.
* Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
* Knowledge and experience in the use of Integrated Asset Management Systems (IAMS).
* Ability to drive change in a highly transformative environment.
* Strong influencing and engagement skills across multiple stakeholder groups.
* Experience in vendor management and running an outsourced and insourced services model.
* Ability to proactively manage and resolve daily operational issues.
