The Opportunity
Nutanix is looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Manager to join our team in Austria. This role focuses on building and managing a mix of accounts, with emphasis on strategic and large enterprise accounts. You will sell Nutanix Solutions and Services directly to large enterprise customers and work closely with a dedicated Systems Engineer. Success requires developing new business across Austria while strategically managing and expanding existing accounts. The position covers a mixed Enterprise and Mid-Market customer base, with responsibility for selling Nutanix products and solutions through channel partners, while collaborating with alliances, ISVs, and engaging directly with customers. Nutanix provides support from Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development to enable achievement and overperformance against sales goals.

Your Role
* Drive net-new business and win new logos across Austria, growing Nutanix’s footprint within named Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts
* Grow sales across the full Nutanix portfolio by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing customer engagements
* Engage directly with customers to understand business and technical needs, positioning Nutanix solutions through consultative, solution-based selling
* Articulate the Nutanix value proposition, including product capabilities, USPs, licensing, and pricing
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, alliances, and ISVs
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Systems Engineering, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product Development
* Leverage strong communication and presentation skills to drive pipeline and execute sales initiatives
* Consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to overall team objectives through individual performance
What You Will Bring
* Proven track record in sales, with 10+ years of experience. Pronounced focus on customer success.
* Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, particularly in the IT industry.
* Experience in the infrastructure domain.
* Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to engage meaningfully with customers.
* Passion in aligning business needs with technology solutions.
Work Arrangement
This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement; however, we try to meet regularly, and there may be circumstances where you may need to come into a local office for a specific purpose or travel to other locations based on business needs. The work arrangement for this role will be discussed with the hiring manager.
