About this opportunity
As a Process Engineer, you will execute and improve Cubicure’s production activities in the field of photopolymer materials. Your responsibilities include formulating and packaging chemical products in a production environment, supporting new product implementation, scale-up, and analysis activities. You will ensure process compliance with applicable standards and instructions, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and work within a team of skilled professionals in chemical production and process technology.
1. Execute production plans according to management schedules and customer requirements.
2. Manage the production, packaging, and storage of existing photopolymer materials and customized formulations according to work instructions.
3. Ensure professional incoming goods inspection and storage of chemical raw materials.
4. Identify and solve quality and production problems based on data analysis.
5. Continuously improve process quality and support the introduction of quality-built processes.
6. Implement production of new products and optimize existing production processes and machines.
7. Plan and conduct qualifications, validation, and revalidation of production processes and materials in accordance with standards.
8. Support the development and maintenance of a database and versioning system for material mixtures and production routines.
9. Maintain a safe and compliant production environment for chemical goods.
10. Assist in creating and iterating production protocols and managing production data.
11. Identify effective courses of action and establish a positive working culture at the factory level.
12. Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines according to production schedules.
13. Prepare validation plans and report deviations and discrepancies.
14. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and technical partners to deliver solutions.
15. Set up and handle lab and testing equipment, materials, electricity, machines, and chemicals following safety protocols.
Qualifications
1. 3+ years of experience in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related chemical or biochemical production environment.
2. Degree or equivalent in (bio-)chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
3. Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in chemical production, with experience in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting multistep material production campaigns.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
5. Desired: Self-confident, passionate, professional decision-maker, team player, ability to work on varied projects, strong quality awareness, familiarity with agile and DevOps practices, and effective communication in German and English.
Additional Information
German: Für die Position gilt der Kollektivvertrag für Kunststoffverarbeiter, das Mindestgrundgehalt nach 3 Verwendungsjahren liegt bei 2.286,66 monatlich Euro brutto für die Verwendungsgruppe III mit klare Bereitschaft zur Überzahlung.
English: The collective agreement for plastic processors (Kunststoffverarbeiter) applies, with a minimum salary of 2,286.66 euros gross per month after 3 years of experience, with willingness to overpay.
