The Finance Working Student supports day-to-day finance operations by assisting with core processes, data accuracy, and reporting. The role contributes to the smooth running of financial activities and strengthens collaboration across teams within the organization.
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee incoming correspondence and emails; ensure invoices receive timely budget-owner approval and communicate them to relevant stakeholders
* Serve as the first point of contact for employees on finance-related queries
* Strengthen P2P controls by verifying that all AP invoices are accurately tagged with corresponding contracts and Jira references prior to SSC review
* Support month-end close activities as well as internal and external audits
* Contribute to process improvements and participate in assigned projects
* Prepare and deliver ad-hoc reports as required
YOUR PROFILE
* Excellent Excel knowledge

* Proficiency in German language
* Ability to communicate in English at a conversational level

Quantitative:
* incoming invoices processed on time (within 2 business days)
* Accuracy rate of invoice tagging and approvals (>98%)
* Timely completion of assigned tasks (month-end close support, audit deliverables, ad-hoc reports
Qualitative:
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail and proactively identifies inconsistencies
* Shows responsiveness and reliability when supporting colleagues and stakeholders
* Maintains confidentiality and compliance in handling financial data
* Brings curiosity and problem-solving mindset to improve processes and tools
