Junior Financial Accountant (f/d/m)

Hyra is working on behalf of Molecular Devices to hire for the position of Junior Financial Accountant (f/d/m). This role supports the European finance team by managing accounting activities for Austrian and German legal entities. You will ensure compliance with local GAAP and US-GAAP standards while collaborating closely with R&D and production teams.
What you'll be doing
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting cycles and closing activities
• Assist in preparing annual financial statements according to Austrian UGB and German HGB
• Prepare reports and calculations for VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax filings
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain standard operating procedures
• Provide documentation for internal controls and support audit processes
What we're looking for
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
• Initial experience in financial accounting or completion of a relevant apprenticeship
• Foundational knowledge of local GAAP (UGB/HGB) and interest in US-GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
• Professional fluency in both German and English
