A role you will love
Reporting to the Managing Director Communication Services, the Head of Sales & Solutions leads the Sales, Solutions, Consulting and Bid Management teams nationally across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane offices. The role is a member of the CCS Australia Executive team and helps to set the strategic direction for CCS in Australia and globally. This role is responsible for ensuring CCS AU profitably achieves new business targets, identifying and developing new solutions to meet emerging market needs (in collaboration with internal stakeholders).
The Head of Sales & Solutions will implement a strategic roadmap which qualifies new business pursuits as they align to the strategic direction of CCS, including up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within our portfolio of existing clients. Accurate and timely management and dissemination of sales pipeline data across the technology, client engagement and operations teams is required to support resource planning.
Key responsibilities
REVENUE
* Coordinate the efforts of the Sales, Solutions & Consulting teams to ensure new business targets are met and exceeded
* Drive innovation and thought leadership with customers in collaboration with the Executive team
* Develop and secure new revenue streams
METHODOLOGY
* Refine and improve CCS AU approach to Sales, Solutions & Consulting
DELIVERY
* Collaborate with the Executive team and other departments to ensure new customers are onboarded appropriately and issues are raised and managed to optimal conclusions
* Ensure training is provided and followed by staff and support is provided in line with business and client requirements
* Provide insights and reporting to management as required
* Participate in Global Initiatives with the CCS Global Leadership Group as required
BUDGET CONTROL
* Work with Sales, Project Management, CTG, Client Engagement and other CCS departments to ensure customers are appropriately resourced to meet service needs cost-effectively
LEADERSHIP
* Set priorities to meet work objectives and manage teams to those objectives; monitor and assess progress
* Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members; drive accountability
* Delegate tasks and oversee deliverables
* Facilitate cross-department discussions and teamwork
* Improve team communication and culture; share knowledge for optimum decisions
* Set goals and ensure direct reports follow through
What will you bring to the role?
* Minimum of 10 years' sales and leadership experience, with a track record of strategic direction and delivering revenue targets
* Expert knowledge of the Essential Communications market in Australia, with strong relationships with enterprise-level customers
* Strategic and forward-thinking leader with understanding of sales and Technical Pre-sales (Solutions) best practice in a large, complex organization
* Demonstrated leadership strength, with the ability to inspire high-performing teams, manage conflict, negotiate effectively and drive change
* Exceptional stakeholder management, able to navigate sensitive issues and engage with challenging stakeholders
* Highly analytical problem-solver, with attention to detail and the ability to apply insights to deliver innovative solutions in regulated industries
* High adaptability to global working hours, meeting tight deadlines and coordinating across regions
