We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to support and coordinate material planning and logistics processes across European sites.
This is a regional expert role within a matrix organization, focusing on process alignment, KPI improvement, and driving consistency across multiple locations. The position requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to operate in an international environment.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate material planning and logistics activities across European sites
* Act as a functional lead within the European MP&L network
* Ensure alignment and standardization of planning and logistics processes
* Act as a gatekeeper for MP&L standards and support their continuous development
* Monitor and improve key supply chain KPIs (inventory, OTIF, forecast accuracy, logistics costs)
* Support and coordinate the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
* Drive inventory‑related initiatives and ensure structured follow‑up
* Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, sales, and logistics stakeholders
* Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
Requirements
Education & Experience
* University degree or equivalent professional experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or material planning
* Experience in a multi‑site or regional environment
* Experience in functional coordination without direct line management
Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of material planning and logistics processes
* Hands‑on SAP experience (MM/PP/SD/WM/EWM preferred)
* Advanced MS Excel skills (analytical level)
* Understanding of S&OP and inventory management
* Knowledge of Lean principles
Languages
* Fluent German
* Fluent English
