Your mission
We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong software development skills to join our Data Warehouse team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and real-time analytics systems that power data-driven decision making across the organization.
You will work with modern data architecture, event-driven systems, and high-performance analytical databases to process and analyze large-scale datasets.
Your tasks:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing;
* Build and optimize data models and analytical datasets using modern architecture such as the Medallion Architecture;
* Develop and maintain real-time data processing workflows in an event-driven architecture;
* Work with high-performance analytical databases, preferably ClickHouse, for real-time analytics workloads;
* Write efficient and scalable SQL queries and optimize query performance;
* Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and platform teams to design reliable data services;
* Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across the data platform;
* Contribute to the development of internal data tools and services.
Your profile
* Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with large datasets;
* Experience with column-oriented databases, preferably ClickHouse;
* Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for analytical workloads;
* Practical experience with message broker systems, preferably Azure Service Bus, for implementing reliable and scalable messaging and event-driven architectures;
* Familiarity with real-time analytics platforms or pipelines;
* Software engineering mindset (clean code, testing, maintainability);
* Experience with data modeling and modern data architecture such as Medallion Architecture;
* Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including deployment, configuration, and management of cloud-based service.
Nice to have:
* Experience with C# Development, Apache Superset or similar BI/visualization tools;
* Experience with stream processing frameworks or messaging systems (e.g., Kafka);
* Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, and management of scalable applications;
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including automated build, test, and deployment processes to support efficient and reliable software delivery.

For legal reasons, we are required to point out that the minimum collective agreement salary for this position is EUR 38,183.60 gross per year based on full-time employment.
However, what truly matters is your personality, professional expertise, and commitment. We offer an attractive, performance-oriented salary that is individually tailored to your qualifications and professional experience and is significantly above the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry.
