Job Description
As a System and Application Engineer in the IPS team, you will play a key role in enabling successful design-in of Renesas products. You will develop reference designs, support customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Design, simulate, optimize and validate inductive position sensor modules.
* Provide technical support to customers from concept and debugging to prototype.
* Perform measurements and tests using lab equipment and test benches.
* Create PCB layouts for sensor demonstrators (experience in Altium is mandatory).
* Prepare technical documentation (application notes, design guides).
* Develop and maintain software tools for demonstrators and production programmers.
* Support simulation of inductive sensor elements using an in-house tool.
* Work closely with Product Management and Marketing.
* Participate in customer meetings and occasional business trips.
* Contribute to new feature development and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, or related field.
* 3-5 years of experience as Application Engineer or similar role
* Proficiency inPCB design and layout; Altium experience is mandatory.
* Comfortable in using electronic lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators).
* Experienced in soldering (SMT and THT)
* Programming skills in C/C++, Python, LabVIEW
* 3D design experience is an advantage (Solid Works)
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

* Experience in automotive or industrial sensor applications.
* Understanding of functional safety requirements.

Additional Information
This position is subject to the Collective Agreement of the Electrical and Electronics Industry, employment group H ). The monthly salary is paid 14 times a year. However, we offer a higher salary depending on your experience and qualifications.
