As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial success of our operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage all financial operations, including transactional accounting and reporting.
* Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Oversee outsourced accounting partners and maintain strong governance.
* Analyse monthly balance sheet and P&L, preparing commentary and identifying performance trends.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with business objectives.
* Act as a strategic business partner to department heads, providing financial insights to maximise profitability.
* Manage banking relationships and cash flow.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
* Drive process improvements and leverage technology for efficiency gains.
* Lead statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance.
ABOUT YOU
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA/CA or equivalent preferred.
* Alternatively, significant relevant experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
* 5-10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally with exposure to retail or merchandising.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
* Proven ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
* Experience in statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance.
