Senior Software Developer – Identity Access Management (m/f/x)
Join REWE International AG as a Senior Software Developer in the Identity Access Management (IAM) team. Contribute to the operation, maintenance, and development of our Cloud-Native Access Management Platform, which provides reliable, scalable, secure, and user-friendly authentication and authorization services, ensuring the security of our IT landscape and providing secure access for our international employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and build scalable authentication and authorization services within an agile team.
2. Maintain and enhance a self-service platform for managing authentication resources.
3. Support and maintain the identity provider (Keycloak).
4. Manage dependencies between different identity providers.
5. Address complex authorization and authentication challenges in a cloud environment.
6. Integrate new products and third-party applications via standard protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, etc.).
7. Assist other developers in using IAM services and managing privileges.
8. Troubleshoot, support end-users, resolve incidents, and implement changes to maintain IAM services.
Qualifications
1. Extensive experience as a software developer, familiar with infrastructure as code.
2. Strong background in cloud-native environments.
3. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, GoLang, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Angular.
4. Hands-on experience with JWT, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, TOTP, Active Directory.
5. Experience with Keycloak is advantageous.
6. Deep understanding of IAM best practices (SSO, federation, MFA, privileged access).
7. Ability to consider user needs while maintaining high security standards.
8. Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
9. Self-responsibility, organizational skills, and coordination abilities.
10. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
