Electrical technician in research high voltage lab 100% (w/m/d)
Hitachi Energy AG – Vacant since 16.04.2026 – Position: 1 – Location: 5405 Baden (AG) – 100% – Immediately – Permanent.
As a high voltage lab engineer, you will be a full member of a dynamic team of scientists and technicians dedicated to shaping the future technology used in high voltage products. In this role you will test innovative ideas, implement new measurement and diagnostics methods, and maintain a functional and safe testing environment.
How you will make an impact:
* Run and maintain state‑of‑the‑art high voltage labs
* Participate actively in planning, preparation and execution of high voltage tests
* Collaborate closely with a team of scientists and technicians from research
* Contribute to defining safe testing practices in the lab during all phases of the experiments, with support from local HSE partners and the research team
* Interact with partners in adjacent Hitachi Energy high voltage labs and business units
What you will bring:
* Education: Electrical engineering with at least a bachelor degree (FH)
* Experience: Proven experience in lab work, including experimental setup with advanced measurement methods
* Programming: Knowledge of lab integrated programming using LabView, Matlab or Python is very much welcomed
* Data analysis skills are a plus
* High voltage lab experience is advantageous
* Language: Conversational level in English is required; good knowledge of German language is appreciated
