* Planning, operation, installation, configuration, and maintenance of netcup’s server infrastructure
* Responsibility for operating virtualized environments (KVM) and close coordination with network and hardware teams
* Implementation of improvements to optimize system performance and customer experience
* Ensuring operational stability, security, and quality
* Collaboration with internal teams as well as external service providers and hardware suppliers
* Support in handling incidents, including troubleshooting, resolution, and sustainable prevention
#Wanted
* Expert-level Linux skills (preferably Debian / Ubuntu or related derivatives)
* Experience in operating virtualized environments (KVM)
* Knowledge of networking (switching, routing, VLAN, monitoring)
* Experience with server hardware (Dell, Lenovo, HPE): troubleshooting, firmware management, automation
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Systematic, independent work style with a strong sense of ownership
* Excellent German and good English skills
