Overview
The Ritz‑Carlton, Vienna seeks a Server Agent / Chef de Rang at our new Sicilian restaurant Pastamara. The role will deliver impeccable service aligned with The Ritz‑Carlton Gold Standards, embodying Sicilian warmth while creating memorable dining experiences.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide personalized, anticipatory service in alignment with The Ritz‑Carlton Gold Standards.
* Welcome and engage guests with genuine warmth, creating a sense of belonging and connection.
* Ensure an exceptional dining experience by maintaining attentiveness throughout the guest journey—from seating to farewell.
* Present menus and describe dishes and beverage pairings with accuracy and enthusiasm.
* Take and deliver food and beverage orders promptly, ensuring all items meet presentation and quality standards.
* Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, and beverages.
* Maintain deep knowledge of the restaurant’s culinary philosophy and regional ingredients.
* Collaborate closely with culinary, sommelier, and bar teams to elevate the overall guest experience.
* Participate in pre‑shift briefings, ongoing training, and service development programs.
Your Qualifications
* Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a fine‑dining or luxury hospitality environment.
* Prior bar or restaurant service experience preferred; knowledge of Sicilian cuisine is an advantage.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* Knowledge of wines, cocktails, and mixology; WSET or bar certification is a plus.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining grace and attention to detail.
* Fluent in English and German; Italian language skills highly desirable.

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full-time employment, is €2,263.00 per month. A higher salary may be offered, depending on your qualifications and experience.
