You will be the Regional Operations Manager overseeing a portfolio of sites across Victoria. This role is responsible for ensuring the operational hygiene of some of the largest Food Processing facilities within the region.
Develop strategic and operational plans and KPI’s for your sites and service delivery.
Ensure the highest level of compliance and quality assurance in respect of daily operations, quality control procedures, site safety and security, personal hygiene & internal practice.
Ensure you conduct regular internal auditing and give assistance with corrective actions for the team and individuals.
Drive a strong Workplace Health & Safety culture at all sites – ensure policies are practiced and adhered to at all times and conduct verification checks to ensure employees are competent in safe work practices.
Audit and assist Site Managers in maintaining training records and ensure they can deliver an accurate and updated training matrix at all times.
Provide Site Manager’s, Supervisors and employees with regular coaching, feedback and developmental opportunities, using collaborative and peer coaching to build effective teams. Assist them by conducting performance assessments and providing performance feedback through establishing mutual goals, objectives and succession plans.
Develop rapport and professional relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction. Solicit regular client feedback and engagement to understand client needs and/or experience.
Identify trends to proactively present solutions, continuous improvement options and/or opportunities for further business.
Represent the business at the highest level through your interpersonal relationships – both internal & external.
Ensure you are well equipped and knowledgeable on your sites in the event that you prompted to report internally, to the client, to an auditor and/or to an external body such as SafeWork etc.
What you'll need to succeed:
Have operations and/or quality assurance experience in processing facilities or industrial cleaning.
Be well organised and able to manage, direct and coordinate staff and service delivery.
Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
Have the ability to drive specified hygiene results and report any shortfalls.
Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Flexibility to travel as/when required.
Flexibility to work a combination of both days and/or nights.
