For its office in Graz, our client is currently looking for a Senior Software Developer (m/f/d).
Responsibilities:
* Develop high-quality software using a modern technology stack for fault-tolerant, high-performance computing solutions in the aviation industry
* Implement, test, document, and integrate new features as part of an agile development team
* Define and refine features in close collaboration with the Product Owner and your development colleagues
* Create and present software-level designs, develop test procedures, and participate in internal reviews
* Coach team members and actively foster knowledge-transfer sharing within the team
* Take end-to-end ownership of feature development, aligned with overall project milestones and delivery commitments
Skills and Qualifications:
* Education in software development (e.g. higher technical college or a degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a comparable field)
* Strong interest in and understanding of relevant mathematical principles (e.g. Kalman filter, state-transition matrices)
* Ability to research new topics, learn quickly, and apply new knowledge effectively
* Proactive, pragmatic mindset with a structurd, step-by-step approach to problem solving
* Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and data pipelines
* Experience working with the GIT and azure frameworks (e.g. Azure DevOps, cloud services)
* Exposure to different programming paradigms (functional and object-oriented); experience with Scala, Java and Python is a plus
* Fluent English skills (working language)

The minimum salary for this position, as per the IT collective agreement, is 3,843.00 EUR gross per month. However, there is a possibility of offering a higher salary based on your qualifications and professional experience.
