Overview Our client is a globally active organisation operating in a complex, international environment. To support the Group Finance function, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join the Group Consolidation team on a permanent basis.
This role offers exposure to group-level accounting topics, international stakeholders and US GAAP reporting within a structured and professional setting.
Responsibilities Preparation, review and reconciliation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and capital expenditure reports
Active involvement in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes in accordance with US GAAP and SOX requirements
Analysis and assessment of complex transactions, including technical accounting research and the preparation of accounting memoranda
Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights to support business decisions
Ensuring audit readiness and supporting internal and external audits, including the documentation and maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley controls
Qualifications Commercial accounting education or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in a comparable role within an international organisation
Solid knowledge of US GAAP; CPA certification with an active licence is required
Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Detail-oriented, hands-on and results-driven mindset
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel
