Play a key role in welcoming schools into the TheirCare community by delivering smooth, well-managed service transitions that build confidence and trust from day one.

About the Role
We’re seeking a highly organised and relationship-focused Transitions Manager to lead seamless, high-quality service transitions across TheirCare’s OSHC portfolio.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end transition of services when TheirCare takes over a new school partnership or exits an existing one. This includes coordinating all operational, compliance, logistical, and communication elements to ensure services launch smoothly, meet regulatory requirements and are set up for long term success or are professionally and respectfully handed over on exit.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, you’ll work closely with internal teams including Sales, Operations, People & Culture, Compliance, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Performance, as well as school leadership and community stakeholders. Your work will directly impact service stability, school confidence, and early commercial viability during the critical first 30–60 days of operation.

This is a full-time role, primarily based at TheirCare’s head office, with regular travel to school sites across metro and regional Victoria and occasional interstate travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all onboarding and exit activities for OSHC services, ensuring clean launches and smooth transitions into business-as-usual.

Act as the central point of contact between schools, internal teams, and external stakeholders throughout the transition process.

Ensure all licences, permits, compliance documentation, and regulatory requirements are completed accurately and on time.

Oversee ordering, delivery, setup, and bump-in/bump-out of resources, furniture, equipment, and IT infrastructure.

Conduct site inspections, inventory checks, and final quality assurance reviews prior to service launch or handover.

Identify and proactively manage transition risks related to compliance, workforce, operations, or school engagement.

Monitor early operational and financial performance post-launch and elevate risks to protect service stability and commercial outcomes.

Coordinate service exits, including handover planning, inventory management, and environmentally responsible disposal processes.

Capture transition learnings and contribute to continuous improvement of tools, checklists, and best‑practice processes.

About You

Proven experience in operations, project coordination, transition management, or service delivery within a service-based organisation.

Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple transitions simultaneously.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly when engaging with school leadership and community stakeholders.

Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem‑solving capability, with the ability to identify risks early and implement practical solutions.

Experience in OSHC, education, childcare, logistics, facilities coordination, or similar environments (highly desirable).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems.

Valid Working with Children Check, Australian driver’s licence, and access to a vehicle.
