We are currently seeking a skilled and committed Lead Engineer to take on technical leadership within our project teams in the Life Sciences business area.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Technical leadership for a project area or sub-team in the Drug Substance field within Process Engineering (Life Sciences)
Responsibility for process design, system specification, and implementation in line with regulatory requirements
Coordination and guidance of interdisciplinary team members across project phases
Ensuring compliance with GMP, GAMP, and other relevant technical and regulatory standards
Supporting resource planning and mentoring of junior engineers in the project
Participating in concept, basic, and detailed design activities, including preparation of technical documentation
Acting as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Supporting project management in strategic and technical decision-making and interface coordination
Show your expertise
Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
Several years of professional experience in the design and execution of process systems, ideally in regulated industries (Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences)
Solid understanding of GMP-regulated environments and pharmaceutical production standards
Experience in leading project workstreams or technical teams in a matrix organization
Strong analytical thinking, initiative, and structured working style
Excellent communication skills and confidence in stakeholder interaction
Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken

Due to legal reasons, we must disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 70.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. The final salary is based on the individual’s qualifications and professional experience.
