YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Further development of our central automation platform as part of an agile, international development team
2. Adapting the current technology stack to meet new requirements and ensuring long-term viability
3. Co-designing the structure of the next generation of the automation platform in collaboration with software architects and implementing it iteratively
4. Contributing to the development of a flexibly expandable framework that enables fellow developers to easily, efficiently, and cross-technologically integrate existing and new functional parts
5. Ensuring the code quality, performance, and robustness of our platform to meet the high demands of our customers
YOUR PROFILE:
6. Completed education (University or University of Applied Sciences, Technical University, or comparable) with a focus on Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
7. At least 3 years of professional experience in developing well-testable software, including automated testing, and handling concurrency, parallelism, and distributed systems
8. Solid expertise in modern software development with C++ (17, 20, …) for strict real-time requirements, as well as C# for applications with reduced real-time demands; complemented by good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
9. Broad know-how in communication protocols such as gRPC, 0MQ, HTTPS/REST, and experience with legacy technologies like MS COM, CI/CD practices are second nature to you
10. Strong quality awareness and the ability to develop platform-independent applications that are both high-performing and easy to operate and maintain
11. Very good knowledge of English, German desirable

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
