We are looking for an experienced and motivated Marketing & Communications Manager who wants to be part of Tieto Tech Consulting.

In the role of Marketing & Communications Manager, you plan and execute marketing activities that strengthen the Tieto brand in Germany, support business development, and drive lead generation in Germany. Act as a SPOC for Marketing activities, taking responsibility for various communication channels and ensuring high‑quality execution of campaigns. The focus will be on PR, online and content marketing.
Responsibilities
* PR & Media: Strategic media relations including news jacking, press pitches, social media marketing, content creation with the aim of editorial media coverage in relevant industry media (online, print, TV), planning of market research projects including budgeting and management of external agencies.
* Content Creation: Drafting, reviewing, localizing and adapting marketing texts for different audiences and channels (web, social media, e-books & whitepapers).
* Event Support: Managing event planning and execution, coordinating Tieto’s presence at local events including logistics, branding, and promotional materials.
* Website Management: Managing updates, improvements, and SEO optimization. Ensuring clear, user‑friendly content structure and coordinating with developers or designers when needed.
* Performance Management: Planning and executing digital campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn ads, Google Ads, newsletter workflows), tracking performance metrics and suggesting improvements based on data. Handling content, visuals and logistics.
* Social Media Management: Developing and scheduling engaging content aligned with global content strategy and local news. Aligning messaging with employer branding and service offering.
* Account-Based Marketing: In‑depth research of selected customer accounts, identifying right personas and their pain points, mapping them with Tieto offering.
Who we are looking for
* A university degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* 4+ years experience in B2B marketing in the IT services or IT consulting sector.
* Experience in planning, running and evaluating PR and digital marketing campaigns, including performance marketing and SEO, content creation and events organization in Germany.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments.
* Strong writing and communication skills in both German (C1+) and English.
* Interest in new technologies and a proactive approach in learning and applying AI tools in marketing.
