The Role
Belgravia Leisure is the proud council partner to the City of Moreton Bay Regional Council. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused Business Operations Manager (BOM) to lead a team managing 11 aquatic and leisure facilities and one sports stadium. This role reports directly to the General Manager of Operations and provides leadership and guidance to oversee the management of these facilities to achieve or exceed results.
In this leadership role, you’ll drive financial and strategic operational plans, maintain high-value relationships, and identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a proven record of achieving financial and operational success.
About You
You will have a successful track record in marketing, sales, contract compliance, and managing key stakeholders, including the community, Councils, and Belgravia, to drive success.
The role requires a commitment to ethical practices, fostering strong team motivation, and reinforcing partnership values. You should be a seasoned manager who leads with vision and energy, with extensive experience in commercial/business management, preferably within leisure, fitness, aquatic, or facility management sectors.
The ideal candidate can share insights into how they have successfully built high-performance teams and understand the link between employee engagement and business performance.

Key Responsibilities
* People: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
* Commercial Outcomes: Drive accountability within your team to meet budgets, ensuring efficiency and business plans for revenue and participation targets.
* Community & Contract Deliverables: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent guest experiences.
* Business Development/Growth: Build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders and execute contract retention plans.
ESSENTIAL:
* Demonstrated financial analysis capabilities
* At least 5 years’ experience managing sales/operations functions
* Proven track record of achieving financial outcomes
* Able to adapt management strategies to different circumstances
* Effective team management and resource maximization
* Leadership and staff motivation skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent leadership and coaching abilities
