Your mission
ABOUT THE JOB
As a German-speaking Enterprise Account Executive – Public Sector, you’ll build and nurture partnerships with government organizations, secure new business, and promote collaboration. You’ll understand public sector priorities and ensure our solutions align with their missions and goals.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Proactively builds a sales pipeline by identifying and reaching out to prospects in the Public and Energy sectors.
2. Manages the entire sales process from initial contact to deal closure, including negotiations and contracts.
3. Develops in-depth knowledge of Prewave’s solutions and confidently presents the platform to stakeholders.
4. Works closely with supporting teams to support growth and maximize value within existing accounts.
5. Has a solid understanding of the public sector landscape, including its sales strategies and extended sales cycles.
ABOUT YOU
Must-haves:
1. 5 to 10 years of experience in SaaS sales, focusing on Public sector and Strategic accounts.
2. Experience in strategic planning and managing the full Public Sector sales cycle.
3. Understanding of government relations and political processes, with stakeholder engagement skills.
4. Consistent achievement of sales targets in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
5. Experience with public procurement portals and tender processes.
6. Fluent in German and English.
7. Valid work permit for Austria/Germany.
8. Additional languages and experience in public affairs or supply chain topics are a plus.
9. Familiarity with Salesforce and scale-up environments.
10. Established network in the public, energy, or defence sectors.

* Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Base salary plus performance bonus. The minimum gross monthly salary is EUR 3,843, but the actual package will be higher based on experience.
