As a
Packaging & Logistics Engineer
, you will contribute to the optimization and standardization of our internal logistics and packaging processes. You will lead and support projects that focus on cost efficiency, Lean & Safety compliance, and the implementation of digital and automated solutions (Logistics 4.0).
Your new adventure
* Project & Leadership
* Lead and participate in logistics and packaging projects, including responsibility for project cost management.
* Drive initiatives to digitalize and automate logistics processes (Logistics 4.0).
* Process Optimization & Operations
* Redesign and optimize internal logistics processes while ensuring compliance with Lean and Safety principles.
* Independently execute projects within production, logistics, and supplier management.
* Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction in packaging and handling.
* Data & Systems
* Define, update, and maintain SAP master data.
* Prepare and analyze reports using Power BI.
* Packaging & Standards
* Define and standardize packaging for purchased parts, in-house manufactured components, and engines.
* Develop packaging concepts for components, engines, and finished goods.
* Establish logistics standards for processes and equipment.
* Manage reusable container processes via the B2B portal.
* Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/customers in both German and English.
* Create, review, and maintain process documentation.
Your Experiences And Skills
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or a related field).
* 1 to 5 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or production.
* Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
* Strong project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
* Experience with SAP and Power BI is a strong advantage.
* Knowledge of Lean principles and safety standards.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 52,197.04 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
