Summary of Responsibilities
We are seeking a Workday Certified Developer to investigate, document, and understand an existing Workday integration with our client’s platform. You will collaborate closely with a C# specialist to design and develop a replacement C# application that interfaces with Workday’s RESTful API, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Analyze and document the architecture, data flows, and business logic of the current Workday integration.
* Reverse-engineer existing integrations to identify dependencies and improvement opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and technical/product teams to clarify integration objectives and gather requirements.
* Design new integration solutions leveraging Workday’s RESTful API, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability.
* Work closely with a C# specialist to develop and implement a new C# application interfacing with Workday.
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate new integrations.
* Provide technical expertise and Workday best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support deployment, troubleshooting, and post-implementation activities.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday integration technologies and RESTful API capabilities.
* Must work UK office hours
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Workday Certification (Integration, Studio, or relevant module) is required.
* Proven experience with Workday integrations (Workday Studio, EIB, RESTful APIs).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating and documenting existing solutions.
* Experience designing and implementing integrations between Workday and external systems.
* Familiarity with C#/.NET and ability to collaborate effectively with C# developers.
* Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
* Experience working in Agile project environments.
Preferred/Bonus Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based integration patterns and security best practices.
* Knowledge of HR, payroll, or financial business processes.
* Experience with API management and authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth, SAML, etc.).
