Job Responsibilities
* Ensure data integrity and accuracy in accounting by validating critical transactions
* Coordinate monthly closing and validate reports in Hyperion
* Prepare and manage statutory financial reports, VAT returns and tax audits
* Review account reconciliations and ensure internal controls
* Maintain SOX and FCPA compliance, manage audits
* Coordinate annual inventory count
* Serve as a point of contact for accounting and tax queries
Job Requirements
* Master/Bachelor degree in Business or Accounting
* 5-10 years of experience as chief accountant in general accounting
* Knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Austrian accounting principles and tax laws
* Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; Hyperion beneficial
* Fluent in English and German
* Beneficial: International tax and transfer pricing experience, controlling and project accounting in automation experience
