Are you passionate about power electronics and ready for a new challenge in an innovative semiconductor environment? Here is your chance! Join our team as Product Engineer for High Power Modules in Villach or Pavia.
In this role you will work in a global R&D team and build the bridge to several internal and external counterparts during the overall life time of our high power PCB modules. With in-depth product knowledge you will solve technical challenges, drive and support various sub-teams with structured analysis methods. As an electronics professional you will take the ownership to successfully move a product from development into production.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the module development-team (electronics- and mechanical-design)
* Collaborate with Test-Engineering to define test-methods and coverage
* Analyze and present measurement data
* Interact with quality management to define reliability test hardware, monitor product qualification data and drive failure analysis
* Provide technical product support in 8D teams and potential taskforces, during development and mass production phases (e.g. customer returns)
* Continuously drive production improvements, like cost optimization, increase yields and test stabilization
* Operate in an international organization-structure, with regular support and report to worldwide located teams
Qualifications
* A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Production Technology or comparable
* More than 10years of experience in the electronics/semiconductor industry
* Experience with power electronics products and circuit design: DCDC-conversion, high voltage, high current
* Knowledge of power module PCB assembly processes and production flows
* Qualification of PCB modules (lifetime testing, EMC)
* Good understanding of PCB quality and reliability requirements
* Profound data analysis skills, like statistics, analysis tools, software programming
* Experience with PCB Production Test-Equipment (hard- and software) is a plus
* Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel and keep the overview also in critical situations
* Willing to learn about new technical fields
What we offer
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. When staffed in Austria, the employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H. The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
