RESPONSIBILITIES
Areas that play to your strengths
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
1. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of earned media for motorsports & aviation at Red Bull. Your overarching goal will be to grow brand attribution by engaging new and existing media globally, as well as managing the motorsports Creator program. You’ll curate storylines and activate globally relevant hero moments, supporting Communication Managers in country markets to achieve high-quality earned media impact in motorsports.
2. In this role, you’ll take the lead in shaping and implementing motorsports communication strategies. You’ll develop comprehensive plans across all motorsport series, projects, and formats, ensuring that earned media opportunities complement programming, content, and social strategies.
Establishing the Creator (Influencer) strategy will be a key focus, and you’ll work closely with key markets to identify the most relevant personalities to attract entry-point consumers, including younger audiences. You’ll also bring a new focus to earned social opportunities by identifying storylines and content that resonate with this audience, collaborating with earned social partners to amplify their impact.
Additionally, you’ll set clear communication strategies for projects, identifying the key hooks and storylines that will encourage media to talk about the brand. You’ll ensure these strategies are tied to programming briefs and bring compelling storylines, such as those centered around athletes and race teams, to life.
3. You’ll work to align global and local efforts by collaborating with country teams to elevate their media opportunities. You’ll coach them, share best practices, and help identify local projects with the potential to resonate on a global scale. For these initiatives, you’ll create agreed communication plans that outline clear deliverables and advocate for their amplification through the Media That Matters (MTM) approach. This will involve identifying markets where successful earned outcomes can be replicated and ensuring these projects receive the attention they deserve.
You’ll also manage relationships with the motorsports marketing team and Motorsports Media Activation Managers to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and fully support the earned media strategy.
Additionally, you’ll work with agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet Red Bull’s standards and objectives.
4. You’ll focus on driving performance and ensuring efficient use of resources. By implementing Search Optimized Communication (SOC), you’ll improve page rankings and drive more traffic to Red Bull-owned channels, such as Red Bull TV.
You’ll oversee project budgets yearly, prioritizing initiatives that deliver the highest return on investment and align with the Motorsports Network’s overall goals. Maintaining high data accuracy in Media Planet will also be crucial, as you’ll ensure earned content is planned effectively and that metrics are clear for all stakeholders.
You’ll establish project milestones and track progress to ensure high-quality, quantifiable earned outcomes, while continuously optimizing workflows to achieve the best possible results.
5. 5+ years of experience as a communications/public relations professional in communications, PR, marketing, media-led companies, or a professional motorsports environment.
