The Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Vienna (IQOQI-Vienna) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), Austria`s leading non- university research and science institution, is offering a PhD Student Position (F*M*X), part time, 30h per week
Your Tasks
* Performing research along the research lines of the group
* Writing and submitting scientific articles summarizing your findings
* Supporting the group leader in writing project proposals
Your Profile
* Diploma or master’s degree in physics or related discipline
* Strong interest in quantum foundations and quantum information theory, demonstrated e.g., by a Master thesis in these topics

An annual gross salary according to the collective agreement of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) of 39.208,82. (Depending on qualification and experience, the salary can be negotiated.)
