Principal Product Definition Engineer
As our new Principal Product Definition Engineer, you’ll define and develop our next‑gen digital and analog hot‑swap controllers and integrated e‑Fuse solutions. You’ll translate customer and market needs into innovative product specifications, help shape our product roadmap, and ensure our solutions deliver maximum performance, reliability and efficiency.
In your new role you will
* Define technical specifications for future hot‑swap controllers by gathering insights from customers, market trends and application requirements across AI computing, data centers, servers and telecom.
* Contribute innovative concepts and ideas for product architecture and performance enhancements.
* Perform product‑to‑system validation, including hardware design, system verification planning and test reporting.
* Create technical product collateral such as application notes, white papers, evaluation boards, simulation models and training material.
* Engage directly with customers to support successful design‑ins and secure design‑wins.
* Collaborate with customers to resolve technical challenges and lead failure analysis for returned components.
What you bring
You’re a self‑driven engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. With strong communication skills and a passion for innovation, you’re comfortable managing multiple priorities and building lasting relationships across teams and with customers.
Your toolkit for success includes
* A university degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* 8+ years of experience in Design Engineering, Applications Engineering and/or Customer Support.
* Deep knowledge of semiconductor design, system applications and power supply control techniques.
* Hands‑on experience with digital / analog controllers and drivers for power management.
* Familiarity with safety standards, EMI compliance and PCB design tools (Altium or Allegro).
* Proficiency in simulation tools to model and validate complex systems.
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I. The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher compensation depends on your expertise and skills.
