As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, configuration, deployment, support, and management of wired and wireless network solutions across various projects.
This role involves working with one of our esteemed government clients
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop contemporary network solutions, including security for LAN, WAN, and software-defined domains.
* Offer network engineering expertise from estimation to post-implementation support.
* Create and improve network design, implementation, and support documentation.
* Implement and support networking infrastructure at client sites.
* Participate in customer and stakeholder meetings as needed.
* Ensure network activities align with Syndeticom's standards.
Skills and Experience:
* 3+ years of experience in designing, configuring, deploying, and managing wired and wireless networks from multiple vendors.
* Experience with Aruba and Extreme networking solutions is required, with Juniper and FortiGate experience being highly desirable.
* Proficiency with switches, routers, and wireless access points.
* Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS).
* Advanced documentation, client-facing, and problem-solving skills
* Desirable: Experience with VoIP/PABX solutions, network design/implementation in enterprise or construction environments.
