As a Software Developer in the IT Financial Services area, you will primarily work on our in-house Finance Applications. You'll join an experienced development team focused on building the next generation of our financial systems. *Responsibilities:*
* Modernize, extend and maintain finance-related applications
* Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and refine requirements
* Integrate software components into the existing build pipeline
* Continuously improve code quality through reviews and testing
* Actively reduce technical debt
* Contribute to an agile mindset and embody the values of commitment, courage, respect, focus and openness
*Qualification:*
* Strong software engineering skills, including analysis, design, development and testing
* Practical experience with Java and Linux
* Experience with design standards and architectural patterns
* Knowledge of container technologies, for example Kubernetes and Docker, and frameworks such as Spring Boot
* Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle
* Experience with API management and web services, for example XML-based services
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ideally within the Atlassian tool ecosystem
* Interest in financial or billing system domains
* Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
* Basic cloud knowledge in AWS or Azure is an advantage

We will agree your salary based on your qualifications and experience in line with the market. The gross annual salary according to the collective agreement for telecom companies is at least € 43.500,94 (38,5 hours/week).
